The scholarship money will help offset the tuition cost  for families who have children enrolled between kindergarten and 8th grade.  Scholarship amounts will range from $500.00 to $1000.00 per family. The Samantha Lipka scholarship fund was started in 2007 for High School Seniors in the Ferguson-Florissant School District. These scholarships have been awarded to students following through Samantha’s dream of going to college.
Over the last 3 years, through the generosity of many people, through The Taste in Ferguson events we have raised $70,000 in scholarship money that has benefited our local youth. Proceeds continue to funded scholarships to high school students in the Ferguson Florissant School District and grade school students at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta school. Other organizations that have benefited are the Ferguson Youth Initiative, Ferguson’s 4th of July Youth Achiever Scholarships Award, Ferguson D.A.R.E Program and several youth camps. We are very grateful for the support from our sponsors, food vendors, the City of Ferguson, everyone who has attended and our dedicated volunteers. So many people have helped make all this possible. We Thank you!
